Why is my Directv Hd heir so slow?

my receiver wasnt other this slow but now when using the guide or in recent times switching channels, it take longer to do so, the basic beneficiary is way faster, so is this a problem that everyone have or is it just my beneficiary, just want to kno to if i involve to get it replaced or not


Answers:    I hold the DVR/HD receiver it take forever for it to switch channels, and it have one other problem - it overheats and shuts down all the time. There is nil above, below, or around it. We made sure the area is all right ventilated and nearby is nothing blocking airflow. I don't get hold of it. My brother's DVR/HD receiver is pretty laggy too.
They freshly rolled out new HD channel. Maybe that's it. Do you use and IR or RF remote control? The RF I use is hopelessly slow and unpredictable. I have to tide that damn thing adjectives over the room just to find the right spot. Arghh!! (I hold to use RF so that I can change the channel from the bedroom. A whole long saga and you don't own time to hear about it....)
