Tivo features?
Answers: A TiVo is a DVR, which means it archives to a hard drive, and consequently when you are done you can delete it. If the program is recorded, you can re-wind, swift forward, pause and slow as much as you want. On live TV, you can't only fast forward the commercials. If you have it paused, you can. It's not easy to explain. TiVo's are VERY good machines. I hold owned a TiVo and another DVR and there is no comparison, TiVo is so much easier to use. It's great and totally worth it! I importantly reccomend one, it will change your vivacity!
TiVo is cool--period--it does ALL the stuff a VCR machine can do: in haste forward, rewind, pause, play and transcript. You can use the FIND PROGRAMS feature to prod for your favorite shows and program the machine to copy all the first run episodes--and store them for when you WANT to survey them!!
And TiVo also PAUSES LIVE TV!! Press pause, run fix that sandwich, come back and hit PLAY....and never miss a pound.
You can also watch one record program while TiVo records another. Some DVR models also agree to you record TWO programs at once, too!
TiVo prices oscillate according to hard drive size and monthly service charges for specific features, close to syncro-hookups to your PC--something that gets hi-tech, but you can opt for such if you want.
Bear in mind: this cool whiz blast stuff isn't limited to in recent times TiVo, either.......
DVR services are available w/ popular satellite TV services and it's possible your local cable service may also propose the same.
Once you rewind, you CAN nippy forward, or there's a special button that skips all the route to the end. Press it again, and it go all the road to the back.
Tivo can narrative programs so you can play them later. You can also delay, rewind, and fast forward live and record TV. You can search for programs to journal, too.
You can also set it to record adjectives or new episodes of a TV program.
Also, whether it's cable or satellite, it comes near a built-in guide.
A phone line is required, though.
