How do I extend my receiver cable from one room to the room across the meeting room?

I have a skybox surrounded by my old bedroom connected by a cable that go through the wall and is hooked up to the skydish. I recently moved bedroom and stipulation to move the skybox. I called up a proffessional and he said it would cost me lb70. I be just wondering if nearby was a cheap and natural D.I.Y way to extend the cable though into the other room (without it trailing through the house).

Answers:    Depends on how far the contemporary location is from the old and what's contained by between them. If the new location have an outside wall and there's a straight path to the dish, and you are handy beside a drill and going up ladders, you could run a topical cable from the dish to your new bedroom. Failing that, the loft space route may be a safer bet.

Another method you might consider is to exit the box as it is and use a video-sender to extend it to the new bedroom. Aldi is selling one tomorrow for lb23.00, and it allows you to use the remote control still.
Do you enjoy access to your attic space? Do you have crypt or crawlspace access? If so, go into those areas, drill a hole to hand the TV in the floor/ceiling. Fish the dash through and attach a coax fitting. Then run the line to the previous and drill/fish the dash nearest that location. It may be possible to pull the inventive line into the attic/crawl space. attach a fitting on that close as well and use a "tub connector" to attach the two segments of stripe.
