I have Directv w Tivo, I don't hold DIRECTV anymore, but I still want to use my DVR. How can I do that?



Answers:    From what I have read and beside Directv Tivo receivers, in that is no way you can use the tivo surrounded by the Directv receiver in need subscribing to any Directv services. The hardware and software are intergrated into Directv receiver.

The lone way is to buy a untried or used tivo stand alone receivers at www.tivo.com. Then you can use the DVR on any source.
