got dvd burner for christmas (Samsung R150) and cannot appear to play dvd recorded sour the camcorder....seems to be tape fine and goes through the process as the instructions influence but can't play the DVD on my other DVD player.

Most DVDs record within a Camcorder do not play within other DVD players. You do not state if this DVD you want to play is from a camcorder or the R150.
DVDs which are DVD-R must be finalized before the play contained by other DVD players. DVD-RW do not need to be finalized to play. Finalizing closes a disc to calculation more content so be sure you are done with it in the past doing this.
DVD+R and DVD+RW media are not compatible for demo with your player according to internet search for your player.
