There are three possible cause:
(1) The signal coming into your HFA100 is fading, or is artificial by strong multipath (echoes). This can cause the signal to drop out as the digital video and audio streams are interrupted. Try re-positioning your antenna to see if the problem go away.
(2) The antenna you are using does not have ample gain at the frequency of the TV channel you want to receive.
