Ok seriously.. what do I involve to do to be capable of bring my record shows from my DVR onto my PC?

Or better yet, history the shows directly to my PC. I'm aware I'd need a TV tuner card for the latter.

Please, if someone could please explain surrounded by detail what I need. I hold Windows XP Media Center Edition(service pack 2).

Anyhow what do I call for? My computer is close to my TV so I suppose if there is a channel to record to the PC directly that would be best, but otherwise can I PLEASE hold someone explain what I need contained by order to do this near what I have,I've search many question and can't really gather anything adjectives from them.
