If I buy a 500GB eSATA Hard Drive for my Tivo, do I have need of to do anything to it for it to work?

I have the eSATA external storage port on the backbone of my Tivo. I was going to upgrade beside an internal 500GB hard drive and do the Linux OS verbs, etc... But I saw this: >PRODUCTS&cm_ite=1%20PRODUCT&cm_keycode=4http://www.circuitcity.com/ccd/productDe...

Answers:    Well if it is a series 3(i'm not sure if the series 2 has SATA) you can use that drive internally freshly open up the drive and it should be a SATA drive on the inside. There is also a hack where on earth you can use external SATA drives on the series 3 TIVO: http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/sho...
and here is a guide to upgrade your TIVO if you don't already have one http://www.newreleasesvideo.com/hinsdale...
