TIVO to Computer Moving?

How do I move the videos from my TIVO to my computer? What wires do I want to buy and how will they appear on my computer? I know it can be done, and that's about it. Thanks soo much!

If your TiVo is where on earth you can run a wire to it you can buy a category 5 cable at Walmart or Best Buy. Plug it into your router and the Ethernet post on your TiVo.

If your TiVo is not close by your router you need a wireless router and a wireless adapter for TiVo.

I do this all the time.

You obligation to download TiVo2Go from the TiVo.com web site. Install it and turn on the TiVo2Go features on your TiVo box.

I connect my TiVo Series 2 DT to my router/WAP next to an ethernet cable.

TiVo2Go runs on my laptop and is able to find the TiVo box via my laptop's wireless framework. I can surf my TiVo box's content from my laptop and start transfers at my will. It is not real express due to my WiFi (g type) running at 54MB. Perhaps a direct connection would be faster, but Wifi is convenient and works for me.
