This may be a dumb question, but I merely got a TiVo, and I'm using the TiVo2Go entry that lets you verbs shows from the TiVo to your computer. So, I've downloaded the shows to my computer and can watch them fine, but I'm wondering --- can I dispatch a file to a friend? Is nearby some kind-of conversion file I would obligation to download first, or can I just email my friend a database? Is that even legal? I'm not trying to convey a movie -- just a point on a TV show. Can I just convey him the file that be downloaded in MyDocuments or do I hold to convert is somehow? Thanks!!
Answers: If you are sending to a friend I would recommend you compress the file using a codec such as xvid.
Use a program call 'autogk' (google it) to compress the file.
