Why is the volume on Tivo recordings lower than on regular tube settings?

How can I fix this? Everything I record have very low volume.


Answers:    I am not sure. You should email Tivo or appointment them! :)
So that the tivo does NOT record the commercials. Remember commercials r at a sophisticated volume than regular programs so that u will hear them when u r away from the set. What part of "surround sound" don't u enjoy?? It's 2007! or u can plug in your tv audio cable into your stereo system or "HI-FI" {in your case} to "pump up the volume"
