DVR cross-question?

I have a 8300HD dvr. I am trying to dictation saved shows onto my vcr. I didn't own it set up right so it didn't do it right.

Now, I do have it set up correctly and immediately its display says "cannot copy to vcr". did I mess up and won't know how to do it or can I fix it??

please answer if it's happened to you...


Answers:    If u can play the record program then you can still copy it - as long as it is not in HD.

Connect ur 8300HD to your DVD recorder. Play the program and hit dictation on the dvd recorder.

It will also help if your dvd recorder is connected to your tv so you'll know that it is playing your program fine..
For some use when mine says copy to VCR, it doesn't but , if I start the DVR program and afterwards push record on the VCR, it works.
