DVD recorder or TV tuner card?
For what it's worth - have saved TV shows on my computer is not that big a accord for me. I'm mostly interested in have a hard copy of my shows on DVD.
Answers: I'd move about with the DVD recorder. It's more flexible and have many features, you could use the timer to narrative all you programs, you solely need to set it once(if it include the built-in memory, next you can burn it to DVD). Besides, if you go near the TV card, you'll have a rugged time if wanna use your PC, while it performing a recording or burning commotion:).
depends on what all you would resembling. with a HD PC card you can copy all shows approaching DVR and your capacity is virtually unlimited bcoz you can donate more harddrive space and then when you hold time you can burn them on discs. with DVR unless you expand your size (which is tough compared to PC) you will run out of space and be forced to copy them to dvd often. also if you already own a DVD writer in your computer you are right to go. dont enjoy to buy DVRs. with computer you can bring a blueray or HD writer when they become cheap and backuip your recordings in a lesser amount of discs but with DVR you can upgrade it to BR or HD writer.
