How much are DVR's?

Answers:    They start around $99 and go up to $300. If you are getting one for directv I suggest getting a tivo until and not the dvr that directv give you, they are junk!!
if u hold cable they will only charge u $7.00/month for respectively box
Tivo often runs special deal on their website: tivo.com. At one point they were selling their 80GB model for "free" (rebate) if you signed up for a minimum of 1 year of service.

Cable and satellite companies also give DVRs for an additional duty each month.

Dish Network be running a promotion where you could obtain the DVR for "free" if you signed up for 18 months of their 200 channel roll. It's a pretty good treaty (at least for those 18 months :-) I'd bid and ask them about it, though. Their website's order system didn't get it right and I have to untangle my first bill with the minister to of customer service...
