Converting VHS to DVD /CD will downgrade the quality of the movie because the VHS player use standard video cord.
If the movie you are discussion about is available surrounded by the market, i'd recommend u to buy instead of converting.
But if it's marriage ceremony tape or childhood kinfolk hang out video, you can bring 'em to any camera and photo shops, some shops to have converting service.

You may want to think in the region of your collection, and simply buy the DVD's you'll really end up watching again. Except for recent hits, you'll habitually find old programs on DVD's for $5 to $10 respectively.

I suggest you purchase a decently priced DVD recorder, just because when you record from VHS to DVD the part doesn't get better at adjectives regardless what you do.
