Would a signal booster relieve better the signal?

i mean i get a little trangle splitter so i can run two tv on one arial, it messes up the signal so it's really rubbish reception.

but will a signal boosted clear the signal up??

so do i call for a good gold ingots plated trangle splitter

However, I do wonder what you are describing by, "messing up the signal". Is this on analogue or digital reception, for example? How is the teletext decoding, as this is a adjectives check for signal adequacy? However, near are a number of other variables which may be cause "rubbish reception".
I would get a obedient quality splitter first and if that did not work after I would buy the booster.
