I guess you'll just hold to wait and see, won't you? From what I've read, it take a real long time to charge. Archos sell an AC adapter for the Archos 605, and it will charge faster than the USB connection. If you are upgrading from an iPod, you can use the iPod charger to charge your Archos 605, or at lowest that's what I read in an eBay auction.
Sorry, but I couldn't find a review that have the number of hours it takes for it to charge via a USB nouns.
