Does anyone know how to run tivo or any drv system and copy the shows to a computer?

im tryng to fgure out how to take shows from my dvr and put them on my computer so can erase them from my dvr and variety room on it. can any on help me out?

Tivo To Go is free software that will agree to you do that if your Tivo is connected to your network. It works very soon for series 2 TiVo's and the series 3 will receive a software update in November that will allow them to do that.

TiVo has a software program on their website that you can download to do exactly this. Each dvr is different, so it is rock-hard to say if it is possible or not beside your specific unit.
