Is here a passageway to capture around copying a dvd next to copyright protection on it?
What other ways can I copy this (if any)?

Hi HELP?!?!,
Sure you can do it and it is legal to copy your own DVDs for backup. You shouldn't give it to anyone else. You can lend it but not afford it.
What you need is AnyDVD. It renders DVD copy protection invisible. Go here to read roughly & get a free trial - http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html
