My Alba TVD3408 plays DVD's surrounded by black and white why ??

When playing DVD's there is no colour but the TV channel are in colour ?


Answers:    you might enjoy plugged the video cable( yellow) into the green socket on your DVD player this will display a black & white image if you plug it into the pale plug on your TV
