Is your TIVO cut bad the end/beginning of their programs? Choppy audio & video too?

We have a tivo (ser 2 dual tuner) and obviously love it. Very often, however, we find that if, for example, a program is from 8:00 - 8:30, and we use the guide to set the tivo to transcript it, it clips the end of the program - as if the program have actually run until 8:31.

I'm not discussion about tivo clipping a program because of have a programming conflict. This happens sometimes even when no other programs are set to transcript.

We're also hoving problems with "stuttering," where on earth the picture pixellates, the sound get choppy, and sometimes the playback even jumps several second ahead, but plays back usually if we rewind and watch it again. I'm guessing we requirement to buy a new tivo, but any solutions to that problem would be welcome as well.

Maybe the two problems are related?

Answers:    In your settings you should be able to move about in and set the program to journal 5- 10 minutes before and after the program so you don't miss any.
