What cable to use to conect dvr to dvd recorder?

My DVR has no copy to device piece and only one video an audio output jack.I want to use a Y cable for the outputs on the DVR.Do I use composite or component cables?Wal mart have 3 different kinds and I wasnt shure wich one to use lacking degrading the picture on a HD TV.

Answers:    For HDTV, you have to hook-up your TV near component cables. (assumming your DVR doesn't enjoy an HDMI connector). Your DVDR won't have component connectors, you own to connect to the DVR using a composite cable. The sound outputs from the DVR hold to be connected via Y adapters to both the DVDR and the TV.
Hi ShdwWolf99,

Use the cables that contest the output on your DVR. Most likely composite (Red/Yellow/White). Connect them to a composite input on your DVD recorder.
