Hi. Just bought a toshiba d-r400 dvdr and there are no instructions on how to recordone show while watching another. we enjoy digital cable with a box.

I'm not at all sure how digital cable works, but I enjoy DishTV, and not only can I study one and record another, I can keep under surveillance one recording while demo something else.
