My daughter tuned our tele into a video recorder today and although I have a picture, in that is no sound. The mute signal is showing on the vanished hand side of the eyeshade and although the tele has be turned off and on again, it is still showing. Any guidance please.

are you using scart leads? trademark sure in correct.
look surrounded by vcr set up,audio settings?
you may have disabled the nouns
press the mute button on the remote.
