You can fast forward through commercials and you can delay live TV. We love TiVO because of simplicity of use. The schedule is other correct because it is updated every day. I can program TiVO to narrative from out of town over the Internet. TiVO learns what you approaching and recommends shows that you might similar to. Often times we never would have set they were on. Tivo is great. I hold had it since it come out.
You cannot fast forward live TV.
If you are watching TV you can rewind up to 30 minutes put a bet on if you have be on the channel that long. It keep up to 30 minutes at a time in memory. If you agree on to record the program you can dictation as long as the harddrive will allow you to.
I really recommend Tivo. You can pause live tv, rewind it, and brisk forward back to live TV.
It also have a built-in TV Guide.
Overall the best invention that has to do near television.
