Where do you find Internet access in need cable?

I want to change from cable to directv.

Answers:    Hi Dan,

Be aware nearby are delays next to using Satellite for the Internet. It takes several second for a request from your computer to reach the satellite, be sent to the Internet and returned to you.

I reflect you might be happier with your cable provider.

Directv offer something called HughesNet. It give you broadband speeds via the satellite, but the downsides are that the broadband speed is typically slower than cable, and it is more expensive.
