Am I watching within HD when I play a HD profile on my PC and how going on for when the PC go to a HDTV?

Suppose Windows Media Player plays a 1280 x 720 HD video file that be produced by a HD camcorder. The monitor is set to display greater than 1280 x 720, so am I seeing the file within HD? Part 2. If I plug the PC into a HDTV using the standard monitor plug, am I seeing HD when I play the HD file through the PC onto the TV?

Answers:    Hi Steve71,

Your TV will not display contained by HD from a composite or component input. The standard monitor plug will not give you HD.
