i have a vidio/dvd recorder and hold just connected a set top box,when i press the diary button on the vidio/dvd the program records no problem, but when i set the timer to transcript it just archives a blank screen, why is this?.and what can i do around it.
Answers: Sounds like you aren't recounting it which channel to journal or the set top box is off. Some (Thomson is one) video recorder will turn auxilliary devices on via infra red.
You have to brand name sure the digi box is on when the timer kicks within and also the digi box is set up on the correct channel
