At the end of August I ordered a DVR from Dish. I asked if the dvr would agree to me watch one show while cassette another. They said YES. (even their website said that). They sent me a single tuner DVR. It doesn't let you see and record at indistinguishable time. I called pay for to complain. I had have the DVR for one week. They said it was my reprimand that I didn't know I should've got a dual tuner. They wouldn't upgrade me. After 5 phone call, I was competent to finally get them to upgrade me (at minimal cost). They sent the Dual tuner. It messed up after a week. They sent a replacement. It had problems after two weeks. I'm on my third beneficiary. Called last darkness for tech help. After 45 minutes on the phone I figure out to power down and unplug receiver to formulate it work. (it did) Tech support was no relief! In the meantime the tech support guy ordered a new beneficiary sent to me. They CAN'T stop the shipment. I have 18 month contract. I want OUT. Any planning on how to get out beside out payment cost?
Answers: give it a week or two and name them and tell them you are moving and the apartment does not allow dish...rightfully they cannot bind you to the contract if you cant have it. if they ask for proof only just have a friend write you a statement. later call directv its the bomb
