I have a Sony KD-32DX40U tube with built within freeview, and have purely come buy a hard disk recorder next to 2 scart sockets. I can't seem to select the built within freeview as a source for the disc to record. Does anyone know how to budge about this? Thanks.

If you have AV2 next look at the menu and point AV2 to source TV/scart out. Works for me.
Doesn't the Hard Drive recorder have Freeview built within? It would be very unusual for it not to, as PVRs cannot history from the scart socket. (Unless it is a combined analogue DVD recorder and HDD recorder)
