Why can`t I play a DVD I hold created on my TV?

I have made some photos of a special lunch into a movie using Windows movie initiator and burned it onto a DVD. Now I can`t get the DVD to play on my workstation or on my tv?
Can anyone help please.

Will an over the upper air conversion box work near a digital background stream provided by cable companies?

Answers:    If it does not play on the PC it may be the wrong format for a movie. But you enunciate you used movie maker.

If it does not play on the DVD player and the disc is a DVD-R or DVD+R it have to be finalized to make it compatible for playing on a DVD player. DVD-RW and DVD+RW rewriteable discs do not requirement this step but they cost more per disc.

I've never used WMM but doesn't that create WMV files? You need to create an MPEG2 directory and make sure you are creating a DVD-Video not an ISO. Your DVD should contain a folder call Video_TS which contains .VOB files. It may be in the wrong format...what format does your dvd play.if it plays adjectives formats then I enjoy no idea.
