I have a 61 inch rca tv it keeps turning on and off by itself can i fix myself?

It may be a remote frequency problem. Check your TV remote.
Try removing the batteries for a day or so and see if the problem continues. Or you may have some other device that sends a signal close to the TV's remote address.
I had an rca that did the same thing.I took it to a repair shop and after they fixed it they told me that it had cold solder joints. It was caused by moving it too many times.If I had known what was wrong I could have fixed it myself.Just take a soldering iron and touch each connection to make sure they havn't come loose.
