LCD or Plasma, which one can burn images into screen if left on to long?

i have both and the plasma tries to burn the image in the screen worse than the lcd. i think most plasmas have a screensaver but it doesnt help if you watch something like the news all the time where there is a ticker on the bottom of the screen.

p.s the best tv to get is a pansonic, sony or samsung. the other companies dont have very good quality
Both , better screens will have a screen saver mode.
If you want a big screen (42 inches or above), your choice is mostly plasma. Under 42 inches, LCD has more options. Regarding burning the screen with images, that used to be for plasma.
If you want the highest resolution possible (1080p), lcd is your option (if you are playing sony playstation 3 or blue ray movies).
Plasma goes up to 1080i.
