KyLinTV modern ?
Is the modern connected ONLY to digital TV?(I have the old kind of tv)?
What kind of input and output of the modern?
Please help me, thank you.
Answer:
I got one two days ago. It's great. Basically the Kylin box is like a PC that you hock it up with your router. That's the input. The output is connected to your DVD TV Input, which is red, yellow and white, supplied by KyLin. So this must be available on your TV.
The only issue is the location of the router. The TV is located in the Living room while the router is next to my PC in another room. In this case I use the wireless WanLan setup in my router.
There is a help line, but the support person's English is not too fluent. I've to talk very slowly and repeat every word.
You also must have at least 1Mb of speed for you Cable or DSL line. Otherwise, if you use your computer and watching KyLin Program at the same time, you will get "buffering" error or "freezing" picture on your TV!
Despite I have a 3Mb DSL from Verizon, I do see "freezing", "buffering" or "Server Busy" messages on the TV during night time.
