Im not sure what its called specifically, but for clarification purposes, im conversation about the nouns some people can hear, and for others, its inaudible. Well to explain the context, I freshly got a foreign flatscreen television and when i turned it on, without delay i could hear a sort of ringing that hits the back of my cranium. Being sensitive to this sound, I be wondering if there is a agency to lower the "high nouns frequency" to a level where on earth my ears are comfortable? Any help is appreciated, I dont want to get hold of rid of my new tv =D gratefulness
Answers: This can be a very vexing problem !!
If like mad or most people can hear the whistle later it can usually be fixed
On the other hand if at hand is only you that can hear it after it is because your hearing is vastly acute in the upper registers.
The whistle or nouns is the horizontal sweep frequency of 15 .625 KHz ( UK ) slightly diff for USA . The frequency can not be changed without the pic individual in lines .
You could try have drapes behind TV which hold your attention high frequency , This be actually suggested by a TV factory owner a few years ago ! .
The good communication ? . As you get elder your top register falls off and you will discontinue to hear it ! I myself can not hear a thing while everbody else swears that it drives them wacky !!
Cheers Pete
