HD Tuner Question..?

Lets say that some1 has illegal cable and wants HD qualitty. he/she went out and bought a HD Tuner but that person hook it up with the cable box the signal doesnt goes thru. what might be the problem? how does that person go on to fix it? just a scenario...

Answer:
The cable company has to send an HD signal over the line that this person is getting the signal from. If it is a regular, non hd signal being sent over this cable, you have no way to get HDTV this way.
The authoriteies have been notified of this activity. A search is now in progress to locate you in person to prosecute you in a court of law.
