How can I get the display on my desktop to show on my plasma TV?

To connect a desktop to a plasma T.V. either manually but preferably wirelessly?

Answer:
Not able to do this wirelessly.

If your computer has DVI out, that's the best way to connect to your television. Depending on your Plasma, you may need a DVI to HDMI cable.

If it has VGA out and you have a VGA input on your screen, you can connect that way as well.
You cannot do it wirelessly but if you get a VGA cable to run from the VGA port on your Computer to the one on your TV* you will be able to veiw yor desktop.

*Not all Tv's Have VGA ports
Both other answers in here didn't mention how easy it is to damage if not ruin your TV doing this. Depending on your TV's resolution, you need to set the resolution and refresh rate on your computer's video card to match it.

1080i and 1080p are 1920 × 1080 pixels
720p is 1280 x 720 pixels

The two frame rates in common use with 1080i are 25 and 30 Hz

1080p can be any of: 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97, or 30

and 720p can be anywhere from 23.976 - 60 Hz

refer to your owners manual to find what your TV's settings are, and set your video card up to send the proper signal to the TV and you should be set.
