What could be the cause of intermitent jiggling of a CRT tv picture?

My Mitsubishi 40" CRT tv is experiencing intermitent picture jiggling on some channels. Could this be the result of a loose solder connection, or is this the beginning of more serious display problems to come?

Answer:
If it's up and down jiggling, that's probably a vertical failure about to happen. While it could be a loose solder connection, it's more likely that a vertical IC is failing. Also, it could be an electrolytic capacitor drying out and going up in ESR value. There's other possibilities, too.

How old is your TV? This is usually a symptom of an aging tube. Solution: replacement.
Full marks to Peachy !
Bobsedit would not know an ageing pic tube if it jumped out and hit him over the head ! .
