Whats The Advantage Of An HDMI Cable?

My dvd player has a nouns for the HDMI cable and so does my tv (Insignia 32" LCD HDTV).... what will this do for me if I buy the cable?

Answers:    DVDs are digital, HDTVs are digital, and (you guessed it) HDMI is digital. When you use an analog cable, digital information looses quality. The digital DVD must first be converted into an analog signal. When it get to your TV it is converted back to digital.

When you use a digital nouns, none of that happens.
The best help for HDMI is sound, they do increase the portrait slightly but if you do not have a surround nouns set, its not worth the money(unless you find one really cheap)
