can anyone help me with my tv in my room, its only 2 years old, but everytime i turn it on now theres this really high pitched sound that lasts for like 30 seconds to a minute. ive tried adjusting all the chords and slapping my tv around but it still does it. the worst part is some of my favorite channels do it the longest. any one have any idea how to fix this or can give me any ideas? thanks.

If you have it connected to a cable box you should call them and have them walk you through setting the volume. Our TV was making a popping noise. Get it checked out perhaps your speakers are going out.

Usually its 2 parts. HV Transformer and a transistor. Unfortunally your not going to be able to replace these parts your self. Take it to a repair shop.
You need to chuck that Tv out the window and do your homework, young lady.
