Sony Wega (kv-34hs510) stuck within standby mode, flashing desk light?

Worked fine yesterday. TV is maybe 4 years old-fashioned.


Answers:    Constant flashing indicates the Picture tube is not getting warmed up....Could be the electric fire, or the Screen or Cathode voltage....

I'd suspect the heater or peak more.....
Flashing standby light on a Sony TV routine the its is doing its internal calibration / self check. If the light doesn't stop flashing the TV requires repair / replacement. This is exactly how mine died.
