I can't currently receive freeview where I live but want to purchase a PVR with hard disk to record TV. Thinking ahead to the digital changeover in a few years, I was contemplating getting built-in Freeview so that it's all in the same unit but am not sure whether I will be able to receive analogue TV via this box (and therefore record it) or whether it will just be a case of not being able to watch (or record) any TV via the PVR until I can get a Freeview signal! I would be grateful for some advice. Feel free to also recommend some models, I would be looking for a twin tuner so I can record 2 channels at the same time, the size of the hard drive isn't a problem, the smallest available will be more than adequate for my needs. Yes you will be able to use the hard drive on the pvr to record analogue. as the main source is the coxial.
But if unsure check that it has an analogue turner too.
