How do I remove afterimage on my Samsung 50" Plasma TV?
Answer:
On some of the 2007 models, the menu might have a "Burn-in" repair mode.I've seen a couple recently. NICE FEATURE!!
But on older models, I suggest TRYING THIS :

I have yet to use this, but I'll bet this software can DE-BURN an afterimage if you run it long enough.but run it for one to four hours, then monitor it every 15 minutes. It takes times to De-burn any image.
Maybe if you unplug it, then plug it back in really quickly, so not all your settings are reset.
LOL you dont, your screen is permenantly burned.an unfortunate thing that happens to plasma displays when you leave and un moving image on the screen to long. You should have bought and LCD
This seems to have worked.
Play a DVD or anyother signal continuously (10-12 hours). Make sure the whole screen is covered by the picture.
If your TV has a "white wash" feature, where it shows a white screen for 3-4 minutes, use it, but don't overdo it.
Easy... You remove the out-dated plasma television and relocate it to your nearest dumpster. Then you go out and buy a LCD television.
