Is the HD nurture on gridiron channel (ABC, NBC, etc) controlled by the local affiliate?

I've seen this ensue several times before. I'll be watching a show within HD on, say, ABC. It'll walk to commercial, which is usually in 4:3 aspect. Then, when the program comes stern on, it's still in standard definition (4:3, not-so-great picture, etc.), and later, after a few seconds (or sometimes even a few minutes), it go back to HD (full widescreen, clearer picture) resembling someone at the local affiliate woke up from a nap and flipped the HD switch backbone on. What's that all nearly?

Answers:    It could be just that - they gone it in SD instead of HD. Most channel near me of late frame all their 4 by 3 aspect commercials surrounded by a 16 by 9 window near black or gray bars during 16 by 9 broadcasts.

Complain to the Broadcast Engineers at the stations you are watching that this happen on. And be specific as to whether you watch this via antenna, cable or satellite tv. Give them as much information just about your tv or hdtv hardware as in factory owner and model numbers. If you are the only one seeing this it could be a setting on your hardware. But it seem unlikely since you said the resolution dropped. If only the aspect be wrong I would think it would be possible it be a hardware setting at your equipment. But that single aspect of this problem - that the resolution drops - seems resembling it is the stations or perhaps the channel the cable or satellite company is picking them up that is the problem.
Cable and satellite in actuality get their feed for the local stations NOT FROM THE LOCAL STATION.... but actually thru a MOTHER STATION....

It works similar to this....Fort Wayne has an INDIANAPOLIS mother station and also have CHICAGO as another MOTHER....

Now, all locals dispatch their signals to a mother station (I know there's another word to describe it) and the MOTHER uploads it to cable or satellite...then it get downloaded via cable's mother OR directly from satellite....

Ask any TV engineer and they'll verify this.....

NOW WHY does your TV stay contained by SD mode, during the HD program?.....I suspect the feed more, but I doubt there's somebody asleep at the switch so to speak....

Why don't you JUMP from an SD station to an HD station and see if it sticks.....IT could be your cable/satellite box.
