12 volt LCD TV won`t work on 12 volt surrounded by caravan.?

Although the mains adaptor say 12 volt, & the socket on the tv says 12 volt, it will with the sole purpose just lantern the LEDs when I put in a 12 volt organize & try it on my caravan battery, it won`t properly start up unless connected to the D.
Help, please.

Answers:    Your 12 volt lead is too long and it is dropping to much voltage , some 12 volt TVs have need of the full 12 volts to operate , if you only enjoy 11 volts at the Tv it may not work , Make the 12 volt lead from battery-operated to TV as short as possible , also use heavy duty flex as that will drop less voltage as all right.
Cheers Pete
The inverter you are using is set to the wrong frequency for the LCD screen. If supported try to adjust freq on inverter.
