TH-42PA60 plasma tv from panasonic.?

Iam planning to buy this tv but the problem is Iam worried about its resolution.The specs show that its max resolution is 852x480.It also says that this one has 1080 digital processing chipset and 1080p remastering processor.The thing is when I play PS3 games on it at 1080p will they be shown at their full graphics??Will I be able to enjoy the high resolution??Plz tell me fast..N here is the website link so that you can check the specs.

What you are looking at is an EDTV, extended definition set. You are right that the resolution of the set is only 852x480 which is NOT HD! What this set does is take the 1080 signal and down convert it to 480. If you want your PS3 games to be shown at "full graphics" you need to buy at least a 1080p HD monitor or a 1080p HDTV. Make sure the native resolution for the set is 1080.
Also, since you are using the set for gaming you should consider LCD's instead. Plasma's have a notorious reputation for screen burn in when static images are left on for long periods. LCD's do not have this problem.
Don't bother. If you want true 1080p resolution, just get a 40"+ LCD, though Mitsubishi makes a 37" with 1080p. Most plasmas won't go above 720p.
Plasma TV's are junk. Panasonic is the #1 supplier because they are the last major Electronics company selling them, everyone else abandoned this out-dated technology years ago. Give their marketing team credit for realizing the continuing market for uninformed people to buy a fancy name like "plasma" television...
