hey i did a decent homework on this subject...my tots are the following
1. philips has com eout with a xchange offer for their 32 inch lcd tv around 39k...never buy that its not such a great deal
2. if u want real picture quality..go for sharp 32 inches cost around 60k..i am going for this
3. if not go for the philips pixel plus 32 inch lcd tv..
4. samsung is ok only if u want a medium priced tv...even in samsung go for the bordeax one...dont go for the sonoma
5. do not go for brands like kenstar, videocon or some other models
6. take a look at panasonic viera too...
7. in the showroom ask the tv guy to play the same channels in all the tv's u want to look at and c the difference...my personal opinion is sharp...
8. moreover shar is the only brand which has the same model which is ther ein india across the world...
9. other companies have a indian model for the indian markets
10. do not consider a plasma as plasma do have some problems and are not long lasting..

Well, Rs. 50,000/- is enough and more for a 32"lcd. you will get videocon 32" for 39,990/-, or the up coming german brand G-HANZ for 46,000/-, which is better than the leading brands.
My budget is max Rs40,000/-
there is no differences in prices in all brands all most same but service is lg best clarity and sound also . but samsung is slimmest one in all brands
i think you can try panasonic or sony .
no just get a projector on ur celing and it will make it like 2 tvs
