Answers: As far as the ratio's, Consumer Reports read aloud that different manufacturers report them differently, which ability you can't compare using that information.
Based on the other information, such as the Philips has 3 HDMI inputs and the Vizio have 2, and the fact that Philips have already provem themselves in this bazaar, where Vizio is pretty new, the Philips sounds better. I don't know if at hand is a price difference, but if I were buying, I would stir with the Philips.
The best TV is the one that looks the best to you. Of course, we adjectives have brands that we resembling or dislike...that has to be considered. The philips mightbe better within terms of longevity. However, these TV's will be invalid in roughly speaking 5 years as even newer LED technology and others come on stream. Just get what you can afford and discern good give or take a few owning.
