How do I get subtitles on my television?

Answer:
Its an option in the tv menu. Usually called CC1, CC2 etc. It would be in the setup menu. Also, the tv program that you are watching has to have closed captioning. Most do, but some do not.
Get a tv that is closed captioning enabled. Then turn on the closed captioning.
A sharpie, notecards, and tape.

You're going to have to move quickly, though, or else by the time you write down what they say and tape it to the screen, they'll have moved on to something else.
Go to the options screen, and look for the CC1 option (close-caption)
