What exactly is a "tube" TV?and whats the differnace from other tv's?

Im looking to buy a tv and have noticed a tv called tube tvs...whats special about it or what does it do different from other tvs?

Answer:
a tube tv is those garbage old tvs that dont have the flat screen. thers lcd and DLP and plasma. lcd (Liquid crystal display) is a very thin screen with a very good picture.. dlp ( digital light projecton) is a projection light in the tv that shoots onto the screen and the backs are big but they have a decent picture. Plasma, they say has the sharpest picture but it costs a lot of money and are decate and dont last that long..if i were u i would u, for a big tv 40"+ go with DLP. if ur goin 30"- go lcd... plus they have HDTV allowing for amazing pictture
I am hungry for a fish taco right now. How about you??
that depends, could mean just a regular tv with the picture tube
being the tube (cathode ray tube) as opposed to the newer,
flatter plasma tvs.

a true tube tv was the earlier tv that function with diodes, triodes,
cathodes and the like (glass tubular devices) instead of present
day transistors and solid state devices.
